On arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, collect your luggage, pass through customs and then it is a short 10-minute walk to the airport hotel. Settle in, freshen up and relax in the garden or by the pool after your journey. Enjoy a meal at the hotel, keeping things easy and relaxed.

Leave Johannesburg behind, with a short morning flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. On arrival, you will be met by our local representative for a transfer through to Kruger National Park. Over the next three nights, you’ll join morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles, exploring some of Kruger's best wildlife areas with an experienced guide. With a bit of luck, you’ll spot the Big Five alongside giraffe, zebra, antelope and a huge variety of birdlife.
Evenings are about safari pleasures: hearty meals, time around the campfire, and spectacular starry skies.

Enjoy your last morning game drive, breakfast at the lodge. Then we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, we will have our company representative transfer you the centrally located City Lodge Hotel, located at the entrance to the famous V&A Waterfront. From here you can walk to many highlights in the Mother City of Cape Town.
Make the most of Cape Towns of your time in Cape Town: wander the V&A Waterfront, colourful Bo‑Kaap and the leafy Company’s Garden; hike Lion’s Head or Signal Hill at sunrise or sunset for spectacular views; and visit local markets such as Oranjezicht (on selected days) for delicious food. Evenings are perfect for trying the local eateries, enjoying Cape Town’s vibrant scene.

Winelands

After your time in Cape Town, head into the Cape Winelands for two relaxing nights in Franschhoek, a picturesque valley known for its vineyards, mountain scenery and food. We will arrange a transfer through to Franschhoek after breakfast. This is a leisurely 1-hour drive (depending on traffic). Take easy walks around the village or into nearby trails for mountain and vineyard views. Franschhoek is famous for fine dining, bistros, bakeries and it's Saturday morning market. Stroll through the main street lined with galleries, boutiques and cafés. Window‑shop, enjoy a coffee, or pick up picnic supplies from local delis.
You will be staying at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa, which offers a classic, Cape Winelands stay just a few minutes’ drive from the heart of Franschhoek village. Framed by dramatic mountains, the hotel combines elegant interiors, expansive lawns and tranquil gardens with easy access to wine estates, restaurants and scenic drives.

After your time in the Winelands, you return to Cape Town with your bags full and your camera full—ready for the journey home. At the agreed time, you driver collects you from your hotel and transfers you to Cape Town International Airport. As you check in for your onward flight, you’ll be leaving with a complete picture of Southern Africa: city energy in Johannesburg, unforgettable wildlife in Kruger, the roar of Victoria Falls, ocean and mountains in Cape Town, and the tranquil vineyards of Franschhoek—memories to carry long after you’ve departed.
