After breakfast in Diani, depart by private 4x4 safari vehicle toward Tsavo. Arrive in time for lunch at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, one of Kenya’s most unique safari lodges, built on stilts overlooking a busy waterhole.

After some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo. The park is known for its red-dust elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and expansive savannah landscapes.

Return to the lodge for dinner while watching wildlife gather below — often right from your room balcony.

Full Day Exploring Tsavo

Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive through Tsavo’s diverse terrain. Depending on conditions, you may explore different sections of Tsavo East and the surrounding conservancy areas.

Return to the lodge for lunch and leisure time before heading out again in the late afternoon for more wildlife viewing. Keep your camera ready for elephants, lions, antelopes, and possibly leopards.

Tsavo to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart Tsavo and drive toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Kilima Safari Camp, ideally positioned for stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Amboseli. The park is world-famous for its large elephant herds and open plains set against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain.

Full Day in Amboseli

Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit the swamps and open plains where elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and a variety of bird species are frequently seen.

Between drives, relax at camp, enjoy the pool, or simply take in the breathtaking Kilimanjaro views (weather permitting).

Amboseli to Diani

After breakfast at Kilima Safari Camp, check out and begin your journey back toward Diani.

On the way, enjoy a visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll learn about the community’s rich culture, customs, traditional homes (manyattas), and way of life. It’s a wonderful opportunity to interact, ask questions, and gain deeper insight into one of East Africa’s most iconic tribes.

After the visit, continue your scenic drive back to the coast, arriving in Diani later in the day — marking the end of your unforgettable bush-and-beach luxury safari.
