Day 1

Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale forest National Park

Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale forest National Park

Pick up early from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Drive to Kibale Forest National Park (about 5–6 hours), passing scenic countryside, tea plantations, and small towns.

Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner. Overnight near Kibale.

Day 2

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Swamp walk Experience

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Swamp walk Experience

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park. Walk through the lush tropical forest in search of chimpanzees. Once located, spend one hour observing them as they swing through trees, groom each other, and communicate loudly in the forest.

Return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided swamp walk. This community-run wetland is rich in birdlife, monkeys, and beautiful vegetation. It is a peaceful walk and a great cultural and birding experience.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (about 3–4 hours), enjoying views of crater lakes and rolling hills.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the famous Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers incredible wildlife viewing, including large herds of elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species along the shoreline. It is one of the highlights of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore the Kasenyi plains in search of elephants, buffalo, lions, Uganda kobs, and other wildlife while they are most active.

After the drive, check out and transfer to Rushaga, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 3–4 hours), passing through scenic highlands and local communities. Arrive in the afternoon, check in, relax, and prepare for gorilla trekking the next day.

After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before trekking into the forest of Rushaga, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trek can take 1–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.

Once found, spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

Return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon visit to the Batwa community to learn about their traditional forest lifestyle and culture.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Along the way, you may have a stop at the Equator for photos and a short break before continuing to Kampala. Lunch can be arranged en route.

Arrive in the late afternoon or evening for drop-off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari experience.
