After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Tarangire National Park, a scenic journey of about 2.5 hours on smooth tarmac roads. Named after the Tarangire River—known as the “river of warthogs”—the park is a vital dry-season refuge for wildlife. It is renowned for large elephant herds gathering along the riverbanks, as well as giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and abundant birdlife. The landscape is dotted with majestic ancient baobab trees, some over a thousand years old. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before your afternoon game drive, then transfer to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The park is home to an incredible variety of animals, including predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as vast herds of wildebeests and other herbivores. It is one of the best places to spot the famous Big Five—lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, and elephant. World-renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration, especially in the northern region, today you will explore the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti. After breakfast, we depart early for the northern sector of Serengeti National Park, heading to the Kogatende–Mara River area. Packed lunch boxes are provided for the scenic drive as you journey through the vast plains. You will spend two nights in this region to fully experience its remarkable wildlife and landscapes.

Traveling from Central to Northern Serengeti follows the path of the Great Migration. As herds move north, thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather along the Mara River, where dramatic river crossings unfold and predators lie in wait. This area offers intense wildlife encounters, sweeping savannah views, and unforgettable safari moments in one of Africa’s most iconic ecosystems.

This region, including the famous Kogatende area near the Mara River, is one of the best places to witness the Great Migration and thrilling river crossings as wildebeests and zebras brave crocodile-filled waters. The landscape features vast open plains, rolling hills, and scattered woodlands that support abundant wildlife, from large predators such as lions and leopards to diverse resident species. After your adventure-filled game drive, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we continue with the game drive in the Northern Serengeti and proceed to the Central Serengeti with a game drive en route.

Serengeti National Park is the most famous park in Africa, with more than 15,000 square kilometers of savannah full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and many other wild animals.

After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater, bringing along lunch boxes. Once the drive is done, we'll take you back to your lodge to unwind, have dinner, and spend the night.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts the world's largest caldera and is home to around 30,000 large mammals like buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, along with diverse bird species like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards.

After the Ngorongoro Crater, you will head to Arusha, where the safari ends. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha.
