Your driver-guide will pick you up from Entebbe in the morning and begin the scenic journey west towards Fort Portal, one of Uganda’s most beautiful towns.
The drive takes you through tea plantations, rolling hills, and local villages — real countryside life, not the Instagram filter version.
You will continue to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world.
Arrival is in the afternoon. Check in at your lodge, relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for tomorrow’s chimpanzee adventure.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Bwindi
Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Bwindi
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest for chimpanzee trekking.
Inside Kibale National Park, you will walk through thick tropical forest in search of wild chimpanzees. Once located, you spend one hour observing them — watching them feed, groom, play, and shout through the forest. It’s loud, dramatic, and very real.
After trekking, return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, begin the long but scenic transfer south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive passes through beautiful landscapes, crater lakes, and terraced hills.
Arrival in the evening, check in and rest. Tomorrow is gorilla day — the big one.

Day 3
Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Kigali International Airport

Early breakfast, then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trek.
Inside Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will hike through thick forest with experienced rangers in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 1 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements.
Once found, you spend one magical hour with them. Watching a silverback in the wild? That stays with you for life. No zoo. No fences. Just you and them in their natural home.
After the trek, receive your certificate and begin your transfer to Kigali International Airport. The drive takes about 4–5 hours depending on the border crossing.
Arrival in time for your onward flight.
