In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for its "Big Tuskers"—huge African elephants that congregate in the park's emerald-green swamps.

Today is dedicated to the diverse ecosystems of Amboseli. You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, searching for lions, cheetahs, and hippos. A highlight is a visit to Observation Hill, which offers a panoramic view of the entire park, including the seasonal Lake Amboseli and the vast elephant migratory corridors. Between drives, relax by the lodge’s pool or watch for monkeys and birds in the mature gardens of the Sopa property.

After a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, you will skip the morning game drive to focus on your journey back to the capital. You'll check out of Amboseli Sopa Lodge and drive north, leaving the shadow of Kilimanjaro behind. Arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon, you will check into the Novotel Nairobi Westlands. This is your essential "breathing space"—a night of modern 5-star comfort, a hot power shower, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Spend the evening at your leisure, perhaps enjoying the hotel's rooftop views or exploring the cosmopolitan dining scene in the Westlands district.

Feeling completely refreshed, you head out after breakfast for the scenic drive into the Great Rift Valley. You will stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint for breathtaking photos before arriving at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive around the lake. Lake Nakuru is a premier sanctuary for both Black and White Rhinos and is one of the best places in Kenya to spot the elusive leopard. Keep an eye out for the Rothschild’s giraffe and the vibrant birdlife along the alkaline shores.

Exploring the Maasai Mara
Spend a full day immersed in the wonders of the Mara. You can choose between morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day excursion with a picnic lunch near the Mara River. This is your chance to see the "Big Five" (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino) in a single day. If your trip coincides with the Great Migration (July–October), you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras dotting the golden plains.

After a final sunrise game drive and breakfast at the lodge, you will begin the journey back to Nairobi. You'll travel through the fertile highlands, arriving in the capital in the late afternoon. Your guide will transfer you directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight or to your chosen drop-off point, concluding your 7-day Kenyan adventure.
