After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. The park is also home to lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species. The Tarangire River attracts animals, especially during the dry season, making wildlife viewing excellent. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch before heading to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive towards Serengeti National Park through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Another full day in Serengeti allows you to explore different areas of the park. Your guide will take you to wildlife-rich regions depending on the season. This extended stay increases your chances of seeing the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and continue discovering the beauty of the savannah.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater is home to a high concentration of animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and flamingos. The beautiful crater floor, surrounded by steep walls, creates a natural wildlife sanctuary. After the game drive, ascend and head to your lodge for overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Natron, a unique soda lake located near the active volcano Oldoinyo Lengai. The area offers dramatic landscapes, Maasai culture, and beautiful views. You may take a guided walk to nearby waterfalls or along the lake shore where flamingos breed.
Later in the day, drive back to Arusha for drop-off at the hotel or airport, marking the end of your 8-day northern Tanzania safari adventure.
