This day allows you to rest after your journey, adjust to the new environment, and prepare for the exciting wildlife experiences ahead. Overnight is at a comfortable lodge or hotel in Arusha.

Day 2
Arusha to Lake Manyara NP
Arusha to Lake Manyara NP
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park known for its unique ecosystems.
The park features tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos along the soda lake, and vast wildlife including elephants, giraffes, hippos, and baboons. In the afternoon game drive, you will traverse the park’s savannahs, riverine forests, and escarpments, maximizing wildlife sightings.
At the end of the day, arrive at the shared campsite, set up your tent, enjoy dinner prepared on-site, and fall asleep under the African stars.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, leave Lake Manyara and drive towards the Serengeti National Park, the world-famous plains teeming with wildlife.
En route, you may stop for scenic photographs or a short rest. Arriving in the Serengeti by midday, embark on an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, where you can spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and elephants.
Return to the campsite for dinner, set up your tent, and enjoy the sounds of the Serengeti at night.

Day 4

Start the day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti to explore different regions and catch wildlife activity in the early hours.
After lunch, depart the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in Karatu, a town nestled at the base of the Ngorongoro Highlands. The journey is scenic, passing through farms, small villages, and rolling landscapes.
On arrival, check into your campsite, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the following day’s crater adventure.

Day 5
Ngorongoro crater

Rise early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the richest wildlife habitats in Africa. The crater floor is home to dense populations of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and flamingos, all within a spectacular volcanic caldera.
Spend the morning on a game drive, observing wildlife up close and taking in the breathtaking scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Return to the campsite in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay, enjoying the peaceful highland environment.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

On your final safari day, depart Karatu and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant elephant herds and majestic baobab trees.
Enjoy a morning game drive across the park, spotting giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators such as lions and leopards. After lunch, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon to conclude your 6-day shared camping safari, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
