Day 1
Arusha - Serengeti
Arusha - Serengeti
Today, at 7 am, you will start driving to Serengeti National Park, the home of the great migration, passing through the highland of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There, you can stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint before proceeding to Serengeti National Park for the afternoon game drive.
The Serengeti National Park is the world's last great wildlife refuge, as it contains an estimated 3 million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature's wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq km, and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai "Siringet", meaning "endless plains".
Accommodation: Later in the evening, you will drive to Pori Pori Lodges and Camps for an overnight stay. Lunch and dinner, as well as drinking water, will be provided to each person every day.

Day 2
Central - Northern Serengeti
Central - Northern Serengeti
Today you will have breakfast, then drive to the Northern Serengeti for a game drive in the northern part of the Serengeti. This is where the migration should be in August, near the Mara River, in hopes of seeing some of the migratory crossings.
The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest migration in search of fresh pastures.
Each year, they trek over 2,500 km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver-guide will be able to share with you the herd’s current location in the Serengeti.
Accommodation: Later in the evening, you will drive to Serengeti Classic View Migration Camp for an overnight stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinking water, will be provided per person every day.

Day 3
Northern - Central Serengeti
Northern - Central Serengeti
Today you will have a half-day game drive in Northern Serengeti. Later in the evening, you will drive back to Central Serengeti and enjoy the game drive on the way.
The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing year-round due to its abundance of resident wildlife. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a "must-see" on every safari, regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the Dry season (June - November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest and giraffe. Resident carnivores include the lion and the leopard.
Accommodation: Later on in the evening, you will drive to Pori Pori Lodges and Camps for an overnight stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinking water, will be provided per person every day.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Rim Area
Serengeti - Ngorongoro Rim Area
After breakfast, you will start a half-day game in this wonderful park of the Serengeti National Park before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area later in the day.
There are several documented resident lion prides within a 1-hour game-drive radius of Seronera. During the Dry season, resident prides begin to shift westward and northward within their territories, concentrating in the Central region of the park. The Dry season is a particularly good time for lion viewing in the Central Serengeti. The Central Serengeti is also one of the best areas in Africa to spot the elusive leopard. You may be lucky enough to encounter this majestic cat in the branches of the sausage trees that dot the banks of the Seronera River.
Accommodation: Later in the evening, you will drive to Ngorongoro Embalakai Camp for an overnight stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinking water, will be provided per person every day.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Today, after breakfast, you will descend into the crater to enjoy the game drive. Often called the Eighth Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater. About 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank, creating a natural enclosure with its 600m-tall walls. Now, at over 19 km wide, the Ngorongoro Crater is filled with extensive acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest.
Later in the day, you will drive back to Arusha and arrive at 4 pm for drop-off (drop-off point to be advised). Breakfast, lunch and drinking water will be provided. You will advise about your flight time.
