Day 1

Upon arrival in Kenya, you will be met by our company staff and professional safari guide for an 8:00 a.m. pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Your private luxury safari begins in a 4x4 custom-fitted safari Jeep, ideal for comfort and wildlife viewing. En route to the Maasai Mara, enjoy a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos and breathtaking views.

Continue to the reserve, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at Sopa Maasai Mara Lodge. The lodge offers a tranquil, elegant ambience with panoramic savannah views, landscaped grounds, spacious rooms, a swimming pool, and warm Maasai-inspired hospitality. Later, depart before 3:30 p.m. for an exciting afternoon game drive in search of the Mara’s iconic wildlife. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay at Sopa Lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Wake up at 7:00 a.m., freshen up, and prepare for an exciting day ahead before enjoying a hearty breakfast at the lodge restaurant. After breakfast, meet your professional guide at the lobby at the agreed time and depart at 8:00 a.m. in your private 4x4 safari Jeep for a full-day game drive, running until about 4:00 p.m., or as per your preferred schedule.

This day is dedicated to Big Five wildlife viewing, exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara with excellent chances to spot lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos, along with abundant plains game and birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Mara River, a prime wildlife area and a scenic highlight of the reserve.

Return to Sopa Maasai Mara Lodge around 4:00 p.m., in time to relax and enjoy a sundowner. Perfectly positioned on top of a hill, the lodge offers sweeping views and some of the most spectacular sunsets in the Mara, providing a peaceful and memorable end to the day.

Day 3

Maasai mara to Lake Nakuru

Maasai mara to Lake Nakuru

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at Sopa Maasai Mara Lodge. At 8:00 am, depart Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley.

Lake Nakuru National Park is well known for its rich wildlife and birdlife and has been the largest rhino sanctuary in Kenya since 1984. Highlights of the park include:

Flamingos (seasonal)

White and black rhinos

Rothschild giraffes

Buffalo, lions, and leopards

Arrive at Lake Nakuru Sarova Lodge at around 12:00 pm. Check in, enjoy lunch, and take time to relax at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, head out for game drive in the park until late.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, and later get ready for the next day’s adventure at Hell’s Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha.

Arrive at around 10:00 am

Transfer to Lake Naivasha Eseriani Hotel

Check in and have lunch at the Hotel

At 2:30 pm, proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park for:

Hell’s Gate National Park is famous for its spectacular scenery, including towering cliffs, volcanic rock formations, geothermal steam vents, and deep gorges. It is one of the few parks in Kenya where you can walk or cycle among wildlife, such as zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Naivasha Eseriani hotel, as you prepare for your Amboseli adventure the following morning.
