Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

This day is for rest and relaxation after your journey. Depending on arrival time, you can enjoy a short city tour, visit local markets, coffee shops, or relax at your lodge. Your guide will give you a safari briefing and explain the program.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire

Arusha – Tarangire

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (about 2–3 hours).

Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts many animals such as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo. Enjoy a full day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park.

Enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti plains.

Early morning game drive gives the best chance to see predators hunting. You may see large herds of wildebeests and zebras, elephants, giraffes, and many bird species. Return for lunch and continue with an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. The crater has a high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, and the rare black rhino.

After picnic lunch, ascend and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight near Ngorongoro.

The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley with scenic views of mountains, open plains, and Maasai villages along the way. As you approach Lake Natron, the landscape becomes more dramatic and remote.

Upon arrival, you can enjoy a guided walk to the lake shore to see flamingos and explore the unique alkaline environment. In the afternoon, you may visit nearby waterfalls or experience Maasai culture before dinner and overnight near Lake Natron.
