Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable national Park
You will wake up early and have breakfast at your lodge. Our guide will then take you on a game drive through the Kasenyi Plains. The morning game drive will allow you to see nocturnal animals and predators retreating to their dens after hunting during the night. Animals such as antelopes, lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, and many others can be spotted.
After resting for a while, you will be transferred to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. The Kazinga Channel is one of Africa’s top birding sites, where you can spot both resident and migratory birds in large numbers. During the boat cruise, you will also see many water-dwelling mammals, as well as lions, leopards, antelopes, and primates drinking from the channel. Hippos, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and crocodiles are often seen bathing and drinking by the water. Afterward, you'll head to the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will wake up early and order breakfast as you wait for the driver to pick you up. The driver will then take you to the park offices with your packed lunch in hand for a briefing at 7:00 am. This briefing is very important, as it is where you will meet other tourists and the rangers who will lead you into the forest. The briefing covers many topics, but the most important are how to behave around the gorillas, what to expect, and what to carry while tracking the gorillas. You will be assigned a gorilla family based on your overall fitness and age. This is because some of the gorilla groups are located deeper in the forest, requiring more hours of trekking. Porters are available to help you with extra luggage. After finding the gorilla family, you'll spend an hour in its presence. Afterward, you'll head back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
