Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. You will be transferred to Summit Lodge in Arusha, a comfortable base to rest after your journey.

During the afternoon, enjoy the lodge’s serene surroundings, relax by the pool, or explore the nearby town at your leisure. In the evening, you will have a welcome dinner where your guide will provide a safari briefing, covering the next 10 days, wildlife highlights, cultural experiences, and logistical details.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast at Summit Lodge, depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours drive). Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife, making it a spectacular introduction to Tanzania’s wilderness.

Upon arrival, enjoy a half-day game drive with your professional guide, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of bird species. A picnic lunch can be enjoyed in a scenic location within the park.
