Day 2
Walking Safari in Arusha National Park
Walking Safari in Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park is one of the most exceptional and conveniently located safari destinations in northern Tanzania. Despite its relatively small size, the park boasts unmatched geographical diversity – from the rainforest slopes of Mount Meru to the scenic Momella Lakes and wide savannah plains.
One of the unique highlights of Arusha is the opportunity to go on foot – it's one of the few parks in Tanzania where walking safaris are allowed. Accompanied by a ranger, you’ll walk through the acacia-dotted bushland, where encounters with giraffes, bushbuck antelopes, warthogs, and buffalo are possible from as close as 20–30 meters.
After your 1.5-hour guided bush walk, you’ll continue the adventure in a traditional Land Cruiser safari vehicle toward the park’s most picturesque gem – Momella Lakes. Here you can spot flamingos, hornbills, ibises, pelicans, vultures, and many other of the 200+ bird species that call the park home.

Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Today, your safari takes you to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most fascinating wildlife spots! The Tarangire River flows through the park, attracting giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and buffaloes to drink. Where the prey gathers, predators follow - so Tarangire is also home to many lions, and you’re very likely to spot them.
During the dry season, the river becomes the only water source for miles, drawing large herds of elephants. In fact, Tarangire hosts the largest elephant population in Northern Tanzania for much of the year (especially June-October and December-March). These gentle giants aren’t afraid of visitors and often approach vehicles out of curiosity - completely safe and incredible to watch up close!

Day 4
Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara
Today, you’ll explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its pink flamingos. Between April and November, hundreds of thousands of these birds flock to the lake, turning the shores pink from a distance. Up close, you can admire each flamingo along the lakefront, and your guide will share fascinating insights about them.
Flamingos’ presence isn’t guaranteed, as weather, predators, and rainfall can influence their movements. But Lake Manyara is also home to over 400 other bird species, making it one of Tanzania’s best spots for birdwatching. Beyond birds, you’ll likely see giraffes, elephants, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, and other wildlife. And don’t forget the tree-climbing lions - here, lions often rest in the branches, giving this park its unique charm.

Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
Today you’ll explore the legendary Ngorongoro Crater! Your day starts early as your guide drives you into this massive volcanic caldera, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The descent into the crater takes about 30 minutes through lush forests, with a stop at a lookout for a panoramic view. The crater is home to tens of thousands of animals, offering more wildlife variety per square meter than anywhere else. Elephants, buffalo, antelopes, lions, cheetahs, zebras, and even rare rhinos can be seen. Most animals remain inside, enjoying fresh grass and safe prey.
After your morning game drive, stop for a snack at Lake Magadi, a hotspot for birds (watch out for cheeky kites!) and hippos that often surface near the shore. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is celebrated for its rich wildlife and unique ecosystem, making every moment inside the crater unforgettable.

Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Today’s adventure takes you to the world-famous Serengeti, in the stunning Seronera area. The park is home to over 3 million animals and stretches across an area so vast it would take 2-3 days to cross by car, giving wildlife plenty of space to roam freely. Here, you’re almost guaranteed to see lions, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras, with a good chance of spotting cheetahs, serval cats, and other rare savannah animals. The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its unique ecosystem, dense wildlife, and the annual Great Migration. Life here inspired Disney’s Lion King, but unlike a cartoon, it’s raw, wild, and breathtaking.

Seronera is home to some of Africa’s rarest species, including rhinos, leopards, serval cats, and caracals. Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
This is your final day in central Serengeti, and the savannah promises fresh surprises. Each day brings something new - yesterday’s lazy lions might be on the move, elephants that wandered away could approach curiously, and who knows, a cheetah might even perch atop the safari vehicle for a closer look! Today is also a perfect chance to admire the famous Kopjes - striking volcanic rock formations where animals rest, offering incredible photo opportunities. Don’t miss Simba Rock, the very spot that inspired the opening scene of The Lion King, where Mufasa lifts baby Simba to survey the savannah - now you can see it for yourself in Seronera.
