After breakfast, head out with your safari guide to explore the open grasslands, woodlands, and seasonal lakes that attract a remarkable concentration of wildlife.

Ndutu is especially famous for the seasonal Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather on the plains, particularly during the calving season. This abundance of prey also attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, offering excellent opportunities for dramatic wildlife sightings.

After breakfast, continue your morning game drive across the wildlife-rich plains of Ndutu, where you may still spot herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The open grasslands and seasonal lakes attract a variety of animals and birds, offering excellent opportunities for photography and memorable wildlife encounters.

As the day continues, you will begin your scenic journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy a final game drive through the Ndutu region while taking in the beautiful landscapes that form part of the greater Serengeti National Park ecosystem.

Arrive later at the rim of the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. From the crater rim, you can admire spectacular views of the vast caldera below before heading to your lodge or camp to relax and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable full game drive. This world-famous caldera, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. As you explore the crater floor, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species. The crater is also one of the best places to spot the rare and endangered Black Rhinoceros in its natural habitat.

During the game drive, enjoy the beautiful scenery of open grasslands, acacia forests, and the soda waters of Lake Magadi, often filled with flamingos and other birdlife. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, continue wildlife viewing before ascending the crater rim in the afternoon. You will then begin your return journey to Arusha or transfer to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure.
