Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Upon arrival in Kenya, you will be warmly welcomed by a Savanna Sojourns representative at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), who will remain in communication with you to ensure a smooth start to your safari. Depending on your preference, pick-up can be arranged either from your Nairobi hotel or directly from the airport.

Your safari adventure begins at 8:00 a.m. as you depart Nairobi for the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can admire sweeping landscapes and capture memorable photos.

You will arrive at Mara Ntulele Tourist Camp between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. for lunch. After lunch, check in and relax briefly before heading out for an afternoon game drive, offering your first opportunity to spot wildlife across the vast Mara plains.

As the day comes to an end, return to the camp for dinner and a cozy bonfire experience, unwinding under the African night sky in preparation for the days ahead.

Maasai Mara Village Tour and back to Nairobi

Wake up at 7:00 AM, prepare for the day, and enjoy breakfast at the hotel or camp. After breakfast, check out and depart at 8:00 AM to visit a traditional Maasai village near the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

At the village, you will experience the rich culture of the Maasai community, including traditional dances, a tour of the manyatta (Maasai homes), and an opportunity to learn about their customs and lifestyle.

After the village visit, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, stop for lunch around 12:00 PM at a restaurant en route.

Continue the drive to Nairobi and arrive in the city before 4:00 PM, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or preferred location.
