Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Arusha. Your long-awaited Tanzanian safari adventure will finally begin.
You will receive a brief introduction to your itinerary, have your questions answered, and then start exploring this amazing country.
Arusha is a lively gateway to northern Tanzania’s safari destinations, known for its vibrant streets, culture, and activity, and is a place many travelers pass through before heading deeper into the wilderness.
Whether staying briefly or longer, you will experience the city’s colorful and energetic atmosphere.

Day 2
Arusha to Lake Natron
Arusha to Lake Natron
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Natron, leaving the paved road shortly after Mto wa Mbu and continuing along the scenic and adventurous slopes of the East African Rift Valley. The journey passes through traditional Maasai villages with stunning views of the sacred Oldoinyo Lengai volcano, considered the holy mountain of the Maasai people.
As you approach Ngare Sero village, Lake Natron will come into view. The lake is famous for supporting millions of lesser flamingos, which use it as a breeding and breeding ground. The highly saline water supports microorganisms that give the lake its unique red to purple coloration.
You will enjoy a hike around the lake area and visit the nearby waterfalls, a natural oasis where you can swim and relax.
In the evening, you will stay overnight at a lodge near Lake Natron.

Day 3
Oldoinyo Lengai Volcano Climbing Experience
Oldoinyo Lengai Volcano Climbing Experience
At 1:00 a.m., you will have a cup of coffee before meeting your Maasai English-speaking mountain guide who will accompany you to the starting point of the Mount Oldoinyo Lengai climb.
The hike is steep and challenging, requiring good physical fitness and prior mountaineering experience. You will ascend with your guide toward the summit at approximately 2,878 meters (9,442 feet), where you may witness volcanic features and enjoy stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater, Mount Longido, Lake Natron, Maasai bushland, Mount Kitumbeine, and Mount Kerimasi.
After watching the sunrise from the summit, you will begin a slow and careful descent back to the starting point, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to the Lodge. Upon arrival, you will enjoy lunch followed by time to rest and recover from the early morning adventure.

Day 4
Journey Northern Serengeti National Park
Journey Northern Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Northern Serengeti, driving through the scenic slopes of the Rift Valley onto the expansive plains. The Northern Serengeti is a prime area for witnessing the Great Migration, where over 1.4 million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras and Thomson’s gazelles, and thousands of other herbivores move across the plains in search of fresh grazing during the rainy season.
The region is also rich in other wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and crocodiles, as well as large populations of predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Along the route, you will enjoy game viewing and photography opportunities, spotting animals in their natural habitat before arriving at your campsite in Northern Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5-6
Full Day Game Drive Serengeti national Park
Full Day Game Drive Serengeti national Park
During these two days, you will enjoy an early breakfast before starting a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and antelopes, move across the plains in search of fresh grazing land.
The large concentration of herbivores attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, giving you excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. You will also have the chance to see many other animals and over 500 bird species living in the park.
Depending on the migration season, you will spend these days exploring different places of Serengeti for optimal wildlife and migration sightings.

Day 7
Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will explore the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders, renowned for its unique landscapes and extraordinary wildlife. From the crater rim, you can watch the morning mist drift over the steep walls, creating an almost otherworldly atmosphere.
Descending to the crater floor, you’ll discover a pristine, isolated ecosystem home to lions, hyenas, elephants, black rhinos, flamingos, and golden jackals.
The crater also features lush forests, hippo-filled lakes, a vast salt pan, and hyena dens, giving the impression of a wild safari paradise where nature thrives in its purest form.
Later you will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 8
Game Drive Tarangire and Departure
Game Drive Tarangire and Departure
On this final day, you will enjoy a game drive in Tarangire National Park before your departure. Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees and large herds of elephants that roam across the park. In addition to elephants, you may also spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The park is home to many other animals including wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and zebras. All of this wildlife is set against the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania, with a mix of riverine woodlands, open plains, and rolling hills offering excellent viewpoints for wildlife viewing and photography.
As your Tanzanian safari comes to an end, you will carry with you unforgettable memories of the incredible wildlife and landscapes you have experienced. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred directly to the airport for your onward journey.
