Full Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Begin your game drive by visiting Tarangire NP, renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts animals year-round. You will enjoy an extensive game drive, with excellent chances to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of bird species.

Your guide will focus on prime wildlife areas and share insights into animal behavior and the park’s unique ecosystem. You'll enjoy a lunch picnic inside the park, allowing you to remain immersed in nature throughout the day. At around 4.30pm, exit the park and drive towards Karatu region for your overnight.

Full Day Game Drive in the Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and ascend the crater rim, where breathtaking views open across its vast caldera. You will then descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a Site that supports an incredible concentration of wildlife within its enclosed ecosystem.

Enjoy a full game drive across the crater floor, exploring open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and seasonal lakes. Wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and a rich variety of birdlife. With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, allowing time to relax while observing the surroundings. Exit the park around 4.30pm and drive back to Arusha.
