Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver. After a brief introduction, you will begin your transfer into Windhoek, Namibia’s relaxed and charming capital city.
The drive into town takes approximately 40–45 minutes, giving you your first glimpse of Namibia’s wide open landscapes and surrounding mountains. Once in Windhoek, you will check in to your hotel and have time to settle in after your journey.
Dinner this evening can be enjoyed either at your hotel or at one of Windhoek’s nearby local restaurants, offering a chance to sample some of Namibia’s excellent cuisine before your safari adventure begins.

Day 2-3
Waterberg & Surroundings

After breakfast, you will meet your guide at the hotel and begin the day with a short city tour of Windhoek, offering a brief introduction to Namibia’s capital and its main landmarks. Afterwards, you will depart for your next destination, a private game reserve bordering Waterberg National Park. During your stay, enjoy guided game drives in search of wildlife, particularly antelope species that are in calving season during the green months, often attracting predators (Big Cats) to the area. You may also explore the park on scenic walking trails, take in the dramatic views from the Waterberg Plateau, and enjoy excellent birding opportunities. An optional visit can also be arranged to the nearby Cheetah Conservation Fund, where you can take part in a cheetah drive and learn about the important conservation work being done to protect these remarkable cats.

Day 4-6
Bwabwata National Park & Mahango Game Reserve

Over the next few days, you will explore the lush landscapes of Bwabwata and Mahango National Parks in northeastern Namibia. During the green season, summer rains transform the floodplains and woodlands into vibrant habitats rich with wildlife. This is also calving season, when many antelope give birth, attracting predators and making December to March an excellent time to see lions, leopards, and other big cats in action.
Enjoy guided game drives through both parks in search of elephant, buffalo, antelope, and abundant birdlife. One afternoon, you will also take a relaxing cruise on the Okavango River, offering beautiful scenery and the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and wildlife gathering along the water’s edge.

Day 7-8
Etosha East
Etosha East
Today your journey continues west toward Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. You will spend the next two nights on the eastern boundary of the park, an excellent area for diverse wildlife sightings.
During the green season, Etosha transforms as summer rains fill the waterholes and surrounding pans, drawing large numbers of animals to the area. Calving season brings many newborn antelope to the plains, often attracting predators such as lions and other wild cats.
Over the next two days, enjoy game drives through the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebra, antelope, and a variety of predators, while keeping an eye out for the many young animals that make this time of year especially rewarding.

Day 9-10
Etosha South
Etosha South
Today is spent exploring Etosha National Park with a full-day game drive as you travel through the park’s vast landscapes, stopping at waterholes and open plains in search of wildlife. During the green season, the bush is lush and fresh after the summer rains, attracting large numbers of grazing animals that feed on the new vegetation.
Tomorrow enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives into the park. With wildlife spread across the plains and around the waterholes, there are excellent opportunities to see elephants, giraffe, zebra, antelope, and predators moving through the thriving landscape. This time of year is particularly rewarding as many young animals can be seen alongside their herds.

Day 11
Otjiwarongo

Today you will depart Etosha National Park and begin your journey south toward Windhoek. Along the way, you will stop at Otjiwa Safari Lodge, located roughly halfway between Etosha and the capital, set within a beautiful private reserve.
Upon arrival, you can enjoy a variety of activities offered by the lodge, such as game drives or nature walks in the reserve. Alternatively, an optional stop can be arranged en route to visit a traditional Himba village, offering a unique opportunity to learn about the culture and daily life of one of Namibia’s most iconic communities. The evening can then be spent relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

This morning you may enjoy a relaxed start to the day, with the option of taking part in a morning activity at the lodge before checking out. Afterwards, you will begin your journey back to Windhoek.
Your guide will transfer you to Hosea Kutako International Airport in time for your departure home. Your safari comes to an end after a memorable journey through Namibia, filled with incredible wildlife sightings, big cats, and the many newborn animals that make the green season such a special time to travel.
