Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. You will depart for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a viewpoint for spectacular photographs.

Continue your journey through the rolling countryside and Maasai villages arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch and check-in at Mara Chui Camp.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Today you will spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations.

After breakfast at Mara Chui Camp, depart for a morning game drive across the rolling savannah in search of the reserve’s incredible wildlife. The Masai Mara is famous for its large populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, allowing you to maximize your time exploring the reserve. In the afternoon, continue with game viewing while visiting different parts of the park including areas near the Mara River where hippos and crocodiles are often seen.

Return to the camp in the late afternoon for dinner and relaxation after an exciting day of wildlife encounters.

Day 3

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast at Mara Chui Camp, depart the Masai Mara National Reserve and begin your scenic drive toward Lake Nakuru National Park.

The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley with views of rolling hills, farms, and local towns. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru around midday and check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park, which is famous for its populations of white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, and numerous bird species including flamingos that often gather along the lake’s shores.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley and the bustling city of Nairobi, before continuing toward the southern plains near the Kenya–Tanzania border.

You will arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon and check in at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge. If time allows, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park, which is famous for its large herds of elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

After an early breakfast at Ngorongoro Corridor Lodge, depart for the nearby Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations and is home to a dense population of animals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and with some luck the rare black rhino.
