Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

The drive from Nairobi to Amboseli takes approximately 4–5 hours, offering scenic views of the Kenyan countryside along the way. Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha - Crecent Island

After a delicious breakfast, depart from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha, a scenic drive of about 6–7 hours through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpments. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge, then spend the afternoon at leisure or on optional excursions. A highlight is Crescent Island, a private sanctuary where you can walk among zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and many bird species in a safe, serene environment. Guided walks provide excellent wildlife and photography opportunities. Boat rides on Lake Naivasha are also available, offering close encounters with hippos, fish eagles, and cormorants. Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Park

After early breakfast at Lake Naivasha, check out and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5–6 hours). Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and settle in before enjoying time to relax and take in the surrounding wilderness. At around 16:00 hrs, depart for your first game drive in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Explore the vast savannahs of the Mara, part of the wider Mara–Serengeti ecosystem, renowned for the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. With your experienced guide, also look out for cheetahs, gazelles, and other abundant wildlife. Return to the lodge at sunset to relax and reflect on your first day in the Mara.
