You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by your Mooi Adventures guide. After a short briefing about the journey ahead, begin your first wildlife experience with a shoebill tracking excursion in the wetlands near Entebbe. This gentle activity introduces you to Uganda’s remarkable birdlife and offers a chance to spot the rare shoebill stork.
Later in the afternoon, drive to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital and home of the River Nile. Enjoy scenic countryside views during the journey. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 2

After breakfast, head out for an exciting half-day white water rafting experience on the Nile. This thrilling adventure offers different rafting grades, making it suitable for both beginners and adrenaline lovers.
Between the rapids, you will also enjoy calm stretches of the river surrounded by beautiful scenery. After the rafting adventure and lunch, return to your lodge to relax.
Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the peaceful riverside atmosphere in Jinja, perhaps taking a short walk or simply relaxing by the Nile.

After breakfast, depart Jinja and begin the journey north toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be seen in the wild.
The drive takes you through rural towns and scenic countryside. Arrive at the sanctuary in the afternoon and settle in at your lodge located within the reserve.
