You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your Mooi Adventures guide. After a short briefing about the journey ahead, you begin your first wildlife experience with a shoebill tracking excursion in the wetlands near Entebbe. This gentle activity introduces you to Uganda’s remarkable birdlife and offers a chance to spot the rare shoebill stork.
Later in the afternoon, you drive to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital and home of the River Nile. You enjoy scenic countryside views during the journey. Upon arrival, you check in at your lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 2
White Water Rafting on the Nile
White Water Rafting on the Nile
After breakfast, you'll head out for an exciting half-day white water rafting experience on the Nile. This thrilling adventure offers different rafting grades, making it suitable for both beginners and adrenaline lovers.
Between the rapids, you will also enjoy calm stretches of the river surrounded by beautiful scenery. After the rafting adventure and lunch, return to your lodge to relax.
You'll spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the peaceful riverside atmosphere in Jinja, perhaps taking a short walk or simply relaxing by the Nile.

Day 3
Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will depart Jinja and begin the journey north toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be seen in the wild.
The drive takes you through rural towns and scenic countryside. You arrive at the sanctuary in the afternoon and settle in at your lodge located within the reserve.

You start the morning with a guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Accompanied by rangers, you will walk through the sanctuary to locate the southern white rhinos that roam freely here.
After the trek, you'll continue the scenic drive toward Kibale National Park, famous for its rich primate population and lush tropical forest.
You'll arrive in the late afternoon and relax at your lodge near the forest.

After breakfast, you will head into Kibale National Park for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience, searching for chimp families in the lush forest.
Later, you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large numbers of hippos, elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, and beautiful birdlife along the shores.

You start the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the best time to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, antelopes, lions, and many bird species as they begin their day on the savannah plains.
After breakfast, you will begin the scenic journey south toward Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, located in Uganda’s dramatic volcanic highlands.

Today is the highlight of the safari: gorilla trekking in Mgahinga. After a briefing from park rangers, hike through the forest to find one of the mountain gorilla families.
Spending time observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat is an unforgettable wildlife encounter.
After the trek, you will transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi to relax.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning canoe experience on Lake Bunyonyi, a peaceful activity that allows you to explore the lake’s small islands and beautiful scenery while learning about the local communities.
Later, you depart for Rwanda and cross the border to the vibrant city of Kigali.
In the evening, you enjoy a Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, and cultural landmarks.
