You will fly from Addis Ababa to Lalibela, one of Ethiopia’s most sacred destinations. Upon arrival, you will begin exploring the famous northern cluster of rock-hewn churches carved from volcanic rock. Fly Addis Ababa – Axum

Today you will fly to Axum, the ancient capital of one of Africa’s greatest civilizations. You will visit the famous Stelae Field, the ruins of the Queen of Sheba’s Palace, and the Ezana Stone. Excursion to Abune Yemata Guh

You will travel through the rugged mountains of Tigray to reach the spectacular Abune Yemata Guh church. Reaching the church requires a short hike and a climb along narrow rock ledges. Explore Dallol and Salt Mines

Today you will explore the colorful geothermal landscapes of Dallol. You will see bright sulfur formations, salt lakes, and active hydrothermal fields. You will also meet Afar salt miners and observe the camel caravans transporting salt across the desert. Overnight stay camping.
