Early Pick-Up from Iringa – Sunrise Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

We will pick you up very early in the morning from Iringa to ensure we reach Ruaha National Park gate just as the sun rises, letting the golden sunrise greet us as we begin our adventure. After completing park registration, we will start our morning game drive, exploring the park’s stunning landscapes and rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and other fascinating species. Around midday, we will stop for a unique bush lunch at a picturesque hippo pool, where you can enjoy your meal while observing hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat—a truly unforgettable African experience. After a short rest, we will continue with an afternoon game drive, capturing the beauty of Ruaha as the sun sets over the savannah. The day concludes with a relaxing dinner around a campfire and overnight stay under the stars, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

Guided Walking Safari & Afternoon Game Drive in Ruaha National Park with Armed Ranger

We will start the day with a warm cup of coffee, enjoying the calm morning air before heading out for a guided walking safari with an armed ranger. This is a rare chance to experience Ruaha up close—feeling the earth beneath your feet, hearing the calls of birds, and observing animal tracks and smaller wildlife that are often missed on vehicle game drives. After returning for breakfast and a short rest at camp, we will check out and enjoy a freshly prepared bush lunch before heading out for another game drive through Ruaha’s diverse landscapes. In the late afternoon, we will soak in the beautiful sunset over the savannah before exiting the park and driving back to Iringa, bringing our unforgettable 2-day Ruaha adventure to a close.
