After breakfast, begin the scenic journey north toward Kenya’s spectacular Great Rift Valley, one of the most dramatic geological features on the African continent. Although this is one of the longer travel days of the safari, the constantly changing landscapes make the drive engaging and rewarding. The route gradually shifts from the open savannah plains of southern Kenya to fertile highlands, rural farmlands, and the sweeping escarpments that define the Rift Valley.

You pause at scenic viewpoints overlooking the valley floor, where vast panoramas stretch toward distant volcanic hills and shimmering lakes.

Arrive at Lake Naivasha in the afternoon.
