Day 1

Serengeti Wildlife Safaris will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha, where you will meet your professional safari guide, chef, and fellow travelers before beginning your journey to Tarangire National Park, about a 2-hour drive away. Tarangire is well known for its diverse landscapes, massive ancient baobab trees, and the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, offering great opportunities to watch elephant families interacting in their natural habitat. During the game drive, you will explore areas where wildlife sightings are most common, with chances to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The park is also home to many herbivores, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes, roaming across the savannah. After a picnic lunch, continue the afternoon game drive through the park’s scenic wilderness before heading to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, your safari with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris continues as our experienced guides drive you toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful highland farmland of Karatu and the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the lush highlands behind, the landscape opens into the vast plains of the Serengeti, famous for its endless savannah stretching as far as the eye can see.

You will head to the central Seronera Valley, one of the park's richest wildlife habitats. The area is crossed by the Seronera River, an important water source that attracts a wide variety of animals year-round, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many more. You will arrive around midday, enjoy lunch, and then continue with an exciting afternoon game drive exploring the wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti.

After an early breakfast, your safari with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris continues with an exciting morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Accompanied by our experienced safari guides, you will explore the wildlife-rich plains of the Seronera area, which is well known for frequent sightings of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes.

You will enjoy the game drive until early afternoon before returning to camp for lunch and packing up. Later, you will continue with a scenic drive while exiting the Serengeti and heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your destination will be Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, located near the spectacular rim of the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

Accompanied by our experienced safari guides, you will explore the wildlife-rich plains of the Seronera area, which is well known for frequent sightings of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes.

You will enjoy the game drive until early afternoon before returning to camp for lunch and packing up. Later, you will continue with a scenic drive while exiting the Serengeti and heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your destination will be Simba Campsite, located near the spectacular rim of the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 5

Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro

Climbing the famous Mount Kilimanjaro in one day is not possible. Still, this memorable adventure with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris allows you to experience the first section of Africa’s highest mountain along the popular Marangu Route. Your day begins with an early hotel pickup in Arusha and a scenic drive to Marangu Gate for park registration before starting your hike.

The trail leads through the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro National Park, where you may spot colorful birds, monkeys, and the striking black-and-white Colobus Monkey. Accompanied by a professional guide, you will hike through the lower slopes toward Mandara Hut, enjoying beautiful forest scenery along the way. After a picnic lunch and a short rest at Mandara Hut, you will descend back to Marangu Gate and return to Arusha or the airport, completing an unforgettable Kilimanjaro day hike experience.
