Day 1

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by your safari guide who will brief you about the journey ahead. After the briefing, begin a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley towards the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive offers beautiful views of rolling hills, traditional Maasai villages, and open savannah landscapes. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the vast plains of the reserve where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and large predators such as lions and cheetahs. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, head out for a full day of wildlife exploration in Maasai Mara. The reserve is one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations and is known for its high concentration of animals and incredible landscapes. During the game drive, you may see the Big Five which include lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. Large herds of wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras roam the plains, while hyenas and jackals patrol the savannah. If visiting during the migration season, you may witness the dramatic movement of thousands of wildebeest crossing the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing with wildlife viewing along the Mara River where hippos and crocodiles are often seen. Later in the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3

Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and drive towards the Kenya–Tanzania border at Isebania. After completing border formalities and meeting the Tanzanian guide, continue the journey into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is famous for its endless plains and extraordinary wildlife diversity. Along the way you may already begin spotting animals such as giraffes, elephants, and antelopes grazing in the savannah. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the afternoon, have lunch and take some time to relax. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive to explore the vast landscapes and search for wildlife including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Spend the day exploring the magnificent Serengeti. After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive when animals are most active. The park is home to one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The Serengeti is also home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles that attract numerous predators. After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying game viewing along the way. The journey passes through beautiful landscapes filled with wildlife and traditional Maasai communities. Arrive at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife. In the afternoon, descend into the crater for a game drive where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly the rare black rhino. The crater also hosts a large population of lions and other predators. After an exciting wildlife experience, ascend back to the crater rim and continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
