After registration and a briefing from your mountain guide, you begin hiking through dense rainforest filled with unique plants, colorful birds, and playful monkeys. The gentle trail gradually leads you to Mandara Hut, located at about 2,700 meters above sea level. Along the way, you may explore the nearby Maundi Crater and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding forest and landscapes.
As you ascend, your guide will introduce you to the rich ecology of the mountain, pointing out towering trees draped in moss, giant ferns, and endemic plant species that thrive in this humid environment. The rainforest is one of the most biodiverse zones on the mountain and offers excellent opportunities for nature photography and birdwatching. The fresh mountain air and peaceful atmosphere make the trek both relaxing and inspiring.

After breakfast, you descend from Mandara Hut back through the lush rainforest to Marangu Gate. The walk offers another opportunity to enjoy the rich vegetation and wildlife of Kilimanjaro National Park. Upon arrival at the gate, you receive your trekking certificate before continuing your journey to Arusha for rest and preparation for the upcoming wildlife safari.
During the descent, you may notice details that were easily missed on the way up, including vibrant forest flowers, towering indigenous trees, and the sounds of birds echoing through the canopy. The cooler temperatures and gentle downhill trail make for a comfortable and enjoyable hike. Your guide will share stories about the mountain’s history, local culture, and conservation efforts, adding depth to the experience. Once at Marangu Gate, there is time to celebrate your achievement, take photographs, and reflect on the journey.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park where you may see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many bird species. The Tarangire River attracts a wide variety of wildlife, making it one of the best places for animal viewing in northern Tanzania.
As you explore the park’s diverse landscapes, travel through open savannahs, seasonal swamps, and acacia woodlands that support an impressive concentration of animals throughout the year. After breakfast, guests will depart from Serengeti National Park with their professional guide and drive towards the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, they will descend into the crater for a rewarding game drive across the wildlife-rich floor, where sightings may include elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino. The crater is known for its incredible density of wildlife, offering one of the most spectacular safari experiences in Africa.
After the game drive, guests will ascend from the crater and begin their journey to the airport. In the evening, they will be transferred by our driver-guide to the airport for their flight to Zanzibar City.
