After the game drive, begin your journey out of the Ndutu area and continue through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the highland town of Karatu. After an early breakfast from your hotel, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and a variety of bird species. With luck, you may also spot the rare and endangered black rhino grazing on the open plains.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near one of the scenic hippo pools while surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the crater floor.
In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin the drive back toward Arusha. Upon arrival, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari experience.
