Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative, he will give you a short briefing about what to expect on the safari, then embark on a 8-9 hours journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stopover at the Equator Crossing in Kayabwe for pictures and in Mbarara for lunch.
Continue to Bwindi, with a drive through the Kigezi highlands- dubbed as the Switzerland of Africa. Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, freshen up, enjoy dinner and have an overnight.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

Wake up early for breakfast, and head to the park for gorilla trekking with your packed lunch boxes. You will join other trekkers at the park headquarters for briefing conducted by a senior ranger guide, in groups of 8 people you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek depending on your interest and fitness level.
Head to the starting point and enter into the emerald forest of Bwindi led by an armed rangers and guide, the trek takes approximately 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. Once you locate the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their precious as you watch them feed, groom and play under a watchful gaze of a silverback.
Trek back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded with gorilla trekking certificates, then return to your lodge for an evening of relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa Community. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, meet your guide and embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara. You will be dropped off either at your hotel in Entebbe or at the airport for your departure flight back home or to your next destination.
