Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving southeast through scenic countryside toward Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest wildlife parks. Upon entering the park, begin your first exciting game drive en route to your lodge or camp. Tsavo East is famous for its wide savannah, red soil, and the iconic red-dust elephants that roam the park. You may also spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species across the open plains.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short relaxation, in the evening head out for another game drive to explore more of the park, including wildlife viewing around Aruba Dam, a popular watering spot that attracts many animals.
