Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli – Mount Kilimanjaro Safari Experience

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel south toward Amboseli National Park located near the Kenya–Tanzania border.

The drive takes you through scenic Maasai lands with beautiful views of rural Kenya.
You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch followed by some relaxation. In the afternoon, depart for your first exciting game drive across the open plains of Amboseli.

The park is famous for its large elephant families that often walk across the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro forming a dramatic backdrop.

Other wildlife commonly seen includes zebras, wildebeests, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and lions resting in the grasslands. If weather conditions are clear, you will enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the park.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2

Full Day Amboseli Safari – Elephant Kingdom

After breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full day wildlife safari in Amboseli National Park. The park is often called “The Land of Giants” because of its impressive elephant population.

Amboseli’s swamps and wetlands attract large concentrations of wildlife throughout the year, especially during the dry season. During the safari you may see massive elephant herds crossing the plains, buffalo grazing near the swamps, lions hunting in the savannah, and hyenas or jackals searching for prey.

The park also hosts numerous bird species including flamingos, pelicans, herons, and egrets around seasonal lakes and wetlands. Amboseli is also one of the best wildlife photography destinations in Africa thanks to the iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive toward Tsavo East National Park, one of the largest and oldest national parks in Kenya.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will enjoy a game drive exploring the vast plains of Tsavo East. The park is famous for its unique red elephants that cover themselves in the park’s red volcanic soil.

During the game drive you may see lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and various antelope species. You will also visit the famous Aruba Dam, a popular water source that attracts large numbers of animals and birds.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

After breakfast, depart for a full day game drive with packed lunch exploring the vast wilderness of Tsavo East National Park.
The park features dramatic landscapes including open savannah plains, rivers, rocky hills, and scattered acacia trees. Wildlife sightings often include large herds of red elephants, lions resting in shaded areas, leopards hidden in bushes, and crocodiles along the Galana River.

Bird lovers will also enjoy the park’s rich birdlife which includes eagles, kingfishers, hornbills, and many other species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while observing wildlife near waterholes. Continue exploring the park before returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and begin the journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic drive before arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your Kenya wildlife safari. Meals: Breakfast.
