Day 1

Nairobi to Sweetwaters – Rhino Sanctuary and Big Five Safari

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi as you travel north through the scenic highlands of central Kenya. Along the way you will pass coffee farms and cross the equator near Nanyuki before arriving at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch followed by some relaxation. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive inside the conservancy, one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservation areas. Ol Pejeta is well known for its large rhino population and diverse wildlife.

During the game drive you may see black and white rhinos, elephants, buffalo, lions, hyenas, zebras, and giraffes. You may also visit the famous chimpanzee sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees are protected.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Sweetwaters to Lake Nakuru – Scenic Rift Valley Safari

After breakfast enjoy a short morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive in the afternoon and begin a game drive exploring the park’s acacia forests and lakeshore areas. Lake Nakuru is famous for its successful rhino conservation program and rich birdlife.

Wildlife commonly seen includes white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions resting in the shade, buffalo grazing in open plains, and zebras along the park roads. Flamingos and pelicans are often seen along the lake shores creating beautiful pink lines across the water.

You will also visit Baboon Cliff viewpoint for spectacular views over Lake Nakuru.

Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Full Day Lake Nakuru Safari – Rhino and Flamingo Experience

After breakfast depart with packed lunch for a full day wildlife safari in Lake Nakuru National Park.

The park is famous for its rhino sanctuary and incredible birdlife with hundreds of bird species recorded in the area. During the safari you may see large rhino populations grazing across the grasslands, lions resting on rocky outcrops, leopards hidden in acacia trees, and giraffes moving across the plains.

Thousands of flamingos often gather along the lake shores together with pelicans and other water birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while observing wildlife and enjoying the scenic views.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most beautiful freshwater lakes located in the Great Rift Valley.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon enjoy an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha where you may see hippos resting in the water, African fish eagles catching fish, pelicans and cormorants along the shoreline, and beautiful lake scenery.

You may also visit Crescent Island for a walking safari where visitors can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a safe and peaceful environment.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Later check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon marking the end of your memorable Kenya wildlife safari.
