After breakfast depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of the most successful wildlife conservancies in East Africa.
Ol Pejeta is famous for its rhino conservation program and for hosting the last northern white rhinos in the world.

Enjoy a game drive through the conservancy where wildlife sightings may include:
• Black and white rhinos
• African elephants
• Lions and hyenas
• Grevy’s zebras
• Reticulated giraffes

You may also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees are protected.

Sweetwaters to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart for the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous bird watching and rhino sanctuary destinations.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is well known for:
• Thousands of pink flamingos along the lake shoreline
• Large populations of white and black rhinos
• Rothschild giraffes
• Lions and leopards
• Over 400 bird species

The park also offers scenic viewpoints overlooking the lake and surrounding escarpments.

The drive passes through the scenic Rift Valley floor and traditional Maasai lands before arriving at the reserve in time for lunch.

In the afternoon enjoy your first Maasai Mara wildlife game drive searching for the famous Big Five:

• Buffalo

Spend a full day exploring the spectacular savannah plains of the Maasai Mara.

Morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to spot wildlife including:

• Elephants roaming the plains
• Cheetahs hunting gazelles
• Hippos and crocodiles along the Mara River

Between July and October the reserve hosts the dramatic Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.
