Day 2

Tour starts at a west coast hotel in Nosy Be, with a transfer to Hellville port and a fast boat ride to Ankify. After meeting the guide, guests drive 140 km to Mahamasina, passing Ambilobe’s colorful market and varied landscapes. The itinerary features guided walks in Ankarana East National Park and Mahamasina Park, exploring dry tropical forests, Tsingy rock formations, suspension bridges, and caves. Lunch is at a typical Malagasy restaurant, Chez Aurélien. In the afternoon, the journey continues with a 3.5-hour transfer to Diego Suarez, ending with a hotel stay and dinner. This experience highlights Madagascar’s nature, adventure, and culture.

Emerald Sea - 1 hour by car to the village of Ramena and 1 hour by traditional boat
Meeting time with the guide at the hotel will depend on the tides.
Departure from Diego Suarez by car to the village of Ramena, followed by a trip on a traditional
Malagasy boat (sail and motor) to the Emerald Sea, located to the north, at the exit of Diego
Suarez Bay.
Lunch on the pristine island, surrounded by the magnificent waters of the Emerald Sea.
Day of relaxation on a powdery white beach.
Return to Diego Suarez will be scheduled according to the tides, before sunset.

Day 4

Visit montagne dambre national park
Meeting at the hotel with the guide.
Visit of the park with a certified Madagascar National Parks guide for a walk of approximately 2.5
hours.
Evergreen forest with a humid tropical microclimate, forest trails, botanical paths, and waterfalls.
The park is home to seven species of lemurs and a variety of endemic terrestrial species that can
be observed in their natural environment.
Lunch at Le Relais de la Montagne d'Ambre, a former colonial house surrounded by a magnificent
tropical garden decorated with flowers and various types of tropical plants such as lychee,
cocoa, vanilla, coffee, cinnamon, and pepper, or inside the park.
Optional stop on the return journey at a monastery, where we can enjoy a wonderful panoramic
view in a peaceful atmosphere.
Here, it is possible to visit their carefully maintained garden of medicinal and aromatic plants, from
which essential oils and healing balms are produced according to local tradition.
Return to the hotel.

Visit of Sakalava Bay, Pigeon Bay, and Dune Bay, where we can enjoy a stunning panorama of
the Indian Ocean.
Opportunity to swim in the magnificent crystal-clear waters of the bays, sheltered from the ocean
by coral reefs and surrounded by white sandy beaches.
We will continue with a visit to the military ruins, the lighthouse, and the village of Orangea, also
overlooking a pristine white-sand beach.
Lunch at a restaurant in Ramena, a traditional fishing village, featuring fish specialties to be
enjoyed amidst a lush tropical garden.
In the afternoon, walk in Ramena, a picturesque fishing village, where we can see the fishermen
at work building their typical pirogues and repairing fishing nets along the splendid 3 km-long
beach.
Return to Diego Suarez, along the coast dominated by Sugar Loaf islet and vast stretches of
mangroves.

Departure to reach the site through the colorful Malagasy countryside.
Visit to the fascinating natural geological formation created by a combination of combustion,
erosion, and infiltration processes: the Tsingy Rouge, composed of sandstone, marble, and
limestone, display their striking, ephemeral spires at the heart of Madagascar's only sedimentary
basin.
Lunch at a small local-style restaurant on the plateau near the site.
Departure from Analamera heading south through ever-changing landscapes - rice fields, palm
forests, and plantations - until reaching Ambilobe.
Transfer to the hotel in Ambilobe. Dinner and overnight stay.
