Day 2

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge and drive to Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya. Famous for its large elephant herds, Amboseli—whose name comes from the Maasai word meaning “salty dust”—offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes, including the dried bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, savannah, and woodlands. After an exciting day of game viewing, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from Amboseli to Arusha via Namanga border

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and begin the journey from Amboseli National Park to Arusha, crossing at the Namanga Border. Upon arrival at the border, you will complete all necessary paperwork before switching vehicles and continuing to Arusha. On arrival, check in to your accommodation for lunch, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation around 7:30 am, enjoy a brief safari orientation before departing for Tarangire National Park, located south of Lake Manyara. The Tarangire River, the park’s namesake, provides a vital water source that attracts large concentrations of wildlife, including the country’s largest herds of elephants, as well as wildebeests and zebras. During the dry season, big cats are often spotted, and the iconic baobab trees create stunning photographic opportunities.

A scenic picnic lunch will be served overlooking the Tarangire River, followed by additional game viewing. In the late afternoon, transfer to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Mto wa Mbu and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Along the way you will enjoy spectacular views of volcanic landscapes, Maasai villages, and endless plains.
Enter the Serengeti and begin your first exciting game drive as you head toward the Central Serengeti region, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa.
Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon and relax before dinner.
