Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative – your driver guide. He will brief you about the safari, takes you through what to expect and embark on a journey to Kibale Forest National Park. As you drive through the countryside of Uganda, enjoy remarkable landscapes and traditional homes.
Have a stopover at the Equator for pictures and Fort Portal for lunch, this beautiful city is the tourism capital of Uganda because of the beautiful landscapes and attractions. Continue with your journey to Kibale Forest arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for a guided walk in Bigodi Swamp Sanctuary for an encounter with the local people.
Alternatively, you can take a domestic flight to Kasese airstrip from where you will be picked up and transferred to the lodge.

Chimpanzee Trekking Experience in Kibale Forest

Wake up early for breakfast, meet your driver guide and be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking and the right way to behave while in the presence of the chimpanzees. After registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek, your ranger guide will lead you on a trek through the forest in search of these great apes.
On your trek you will see several primates including black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons and several bird species. After locating the chimpanzee family, you will enjoying watching these primate play as they jump from one tree to another, swing from the branches, feed, rest and groom each other.
After the trek, you will head to Bigodi Village for an exploration. Giving you an opportunity to visit a swamp with abundant butterflies, plants, animals and colorful bird species. Take a village walk to the coffee experience, banana beer making, basket making and visit a traditional healer.

Today marks the end of 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a journey to Kampala with en-route lunch. You will be dropped off at airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
