Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, you will be picked by our professional driver guide and start your 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience.
Along the way you will have stops at the Equator Crossing for photography and a lunch break in Mbarara town. Then proceed to the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where gorilla habituation experience currently takes place. This journey through the scenic hilly landscape of Kigezi giving you an opportunity to see the Kigezi rolling hills and valley as you travel to the park. You will arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla Habituation Experience

Wake up early in the morning and head to park headquarters to join other visitors for briefing about dos and don’ts while with the gorillas on your gorilla habituation experience. After briefing, you will start your trek into the forest guided by researchers and guides. During your trek, you may encounter several birds, other animals and primates in the forest.
Once you have found the gorillas you will spend four hours with them, have an opportunity to listen and observe researchers training these gorillas to get used to people, if possible you will have a chance to participate in the naming the group members and collecting samples.
You will enjoy your packed lunch in the forest, and later return from the forest and be awarded a certificate and return to your lodge. Spend the evening at your lodge at relaxation, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Departure

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport where you will be dropped off for your fight back home or to your next destination.
