Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up and transfer from Entebbe to the north-west towards Murchison Falls National Park.

Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting on-foot rhino tracking experience. Walking quietly through the bush as you get closer to these giants is something very special—it’s not every day you meet a rhino eye to eye!

After lunch, continue your journey to the park. In the afternoon, you will visit the Top of the Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge and crashes down with so much power—it’s loud, dramatic, and honestly, a bit humbling.

You will then head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening.

Day 2

You will wake up early for a morning game drive across the savannah plains. This is the best time to catch animals when they are most active. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and many antelopes.

After some rest at the lodge, you will head out for an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile. This slow ride brings you close to hippos, crocodiles, and elephants drinking at the riverbanks. The boat takes you towards the base of the falls, giving you another angle of this powerful waterfall.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Start your day with a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. Walking through the park brings you closer to nature in a very different way. With an armed ranger leading the way, you will move quietly through the bush, noticing animal tracks, listening to bird calls, and learning about the smaller details you would easily miss in a vehicle. You may come across zebras, giraffes, and antelopes grazing peacefully, making the experience feel more personal and exciting.

Return to the lodge for some rest and lunch. In the evening, head out for a game drive as the park comes alive again. This is a great time to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, and possibly even elusive predators as the sun sets over the savannah. The golden evening light makes everything feel magical. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
