Arrival – Kilimanjaro Airport to Karatu

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide, who will brief you about your safari.

You will then begin your journey in the beautiful highland town of Karatu, passing through scenic landscapes, local villages, and coffee plantations along the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

You arrive in the late afternoon for relaxation.

Your dinner and overnight stay wil be at Eileen's Trees Inn.

Karatu to Lake Natron

After breakfast, you depart for the remote and strikingly beautiful Lake Natron, a soda lake nestled at the base of the active volcano, Oldoinyo Lengai.

This adventurous drive takes you through rugged terrain, Maasai villages, and vast open landscapes, offering a glimpse into authentic local culture.

You arrive in the afternoon with time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Maasai Eco Giraffe Lodge.

Lake Natron to Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you depart from Lake Natron and begin your journey towards the iconic Serengeti National Park.

The drive is adventurous and scenic, passing through remote landscapes and Maasai territories before entering the Serengeti ecosystem. You'll enjoy game viewing en route as the wildlife gradually increases while approaching the central Serengeti (Seronera area), known for its abundant resident wildlife.

You arrive in the afternoon and continue with a game drive around the plains.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Kontiki Serengeti Camp.

Full-Day in Central Serengeti National Park

You will spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of the central Serengeti National Park.

This region is famous for its year-round wildlife viewing and high concentration of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch in the bush.

Ngorongoro Crater – Departure

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The crater is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, rhinos, and a variety of bird species, all within a stunning natural setting.

After lunch, you will ascend the crater and transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
