Arrival – Kilimanjaro Airport to Karatu

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide who will brief you about your safari.

You will then begin your journey in the beautiful highland town of Karatu, passing through scenic landscapes, local villages, and coffee plantations along the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Arrive in the late afternoon for relaxation.

Karatu to Lake Natron

After breakfast, depart for the remote and strikingly beautiful Lake Natron, a soda lake nestled at the base of the active volcano, Oldoinyo Lengai.

This adventurous drive takes you through rugged terrain, Maasai villages, and vast open landscapes, offering a glimpse into authentic local culture.

Arrive in the afternoon with time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Lake Natron to Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart from Lake Natron and begin your journey towards the iconic Serengeti National Park.

The drive is adventurous and scenic, passing through remote landscapes and Maasai territories before entering the Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy game viewing en route as the wildlife gradually increases while approaching the central Serengeti (Seronera area), known for its abundant resident wildlife.

Arrive in the afternoon and continue with a game drive around the plains.

Full Day in Central Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of the central Serengeti National Park.

This region is famous for its year-round game viewing and high concentration of predators including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch in the bush.

Ngorongoro Crater – Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The crater is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, rhinos, and a variety of bird species, all within a stunning natural setting.

After lunch, ascend the crater and transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
