After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich national parks.
Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees and enormous elephant herds. During the dry season thousands of animals gather around the Tarangire River, the park’s primary water source. Wildlife sightings commonly include elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and numerous bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge near the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
You will descend into the crater for a spectacular game drive with picnic lunch. The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to approximately 30,000 animals including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas and the endangered black rhino.
After the game drive, ascend the crater walls and return to your lodge in Karatu.
