Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful park known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. As you enter the park, your safari experience begins with a game drive through diverse habitats including open plains, woodlands, and the Tarangire River area, which attracts many animals especially during the dry season. Throughout the day, you may encounter elephants moving in large groups, giraffes feeding on acacia trees, zebras and wildebeest grazing peacefully, and predators such as lions resting in the shade. The park is also rich in birdlife, making it an excellent destination for nature lovers. In the late afternoon, you will continue to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, you will begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive offers a unique opportunity to experience changing landscapes, from green hills and local Maasai communities to the vast open plains of the Serengeti. As you enter the Serengeti, you will start an en-route game drive, where wildlife sightings begin immediately. The Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area, is rich in wildlife throughout the year and is particularly known for predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You will arrive at your camp or lodge in the evening, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

The crater is home to a dense population of animals and offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.
