Arusha is a lively town located at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as the main starting point for safaris in northern Tanzania. In the evening, your professional safari guide will provide a detailed briefing about the safari program, explaining the destinations, wildlife expectations, and important travel information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the tour.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful park known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. As you enter the park, your safari experience begins with a game drive through diverse habitats including open plains, woodlands, and the Tarangire River area, which attracts many animals especially during the dry season. Throughout the day, you may encounter elephants moving in large groups, giraffes feeding on acacia trees, zebras and wildebeest grazing peacefully, and predators such as lions resting in the shade. The park is also rich in birdlife, making it an excellent destination for nature lovers. In the late afternoon, you will continue to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
