Day 1

Your safari begins with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport. You'll drive southeast to Amboseli National Park, arriving shortly after noon. After checking into your lodge or camp, enjoy a hot lunch and take time to rest. In the late afternoon, depart for a thrilling game drive. Amboseli is world-famous for having the greatest concentration of elephants on Earth—over 1,600 individuals from 56 different families, each elephant named and photographed for research. Against the backdrop of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, you'll witness large herds roaming freely. Day 2

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive toward the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the scenic Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning photo opportunities. Continue to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and fish eagles. This is followed by a walking safari in the Crescent Island animal sanctuary, where you'll have one-on-one encounters with giraffes and zebras—close enough to almost touch them. Breakfast is followed by an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is a rhino sanctuary, home to hundreds of black and white rhinos, along with buffalos, and flamingos. After the drive, return to the lodge before departing for the legendary Masai Mara. If traveling between July and October, you'll be entering the heart of the Great Migration, where millions of zebra and wildebeest cross perilous rivers followed by predators. Arrive for lunch, then relax. Late in the afternoon, Maasai Morans (warriors) guide you on a walking safari through dense bush. Later, enjoy a cultural tour of ancient tribes.
