Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive towards the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a panoramic viewpoint for photos. You'll continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge overlooking the lake.

After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive through the park, known for its large population of white and black rhinos, flamingos, Rothschild giraffes, and other wildlife. You'll explore the acacia woodlands and lakeshore before exiting the park in the evening.

You'll proceed to Ziwa Bush Lodge for check-in, dinner, and a relaxing overnight stay surrounded by nature.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru National Park and journey towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and rural countryside along the way.

Arrive in time for lunch at Drunken Elephant Mara, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, you'll head out for your first exciting game drive in the Mara, where you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and other iconic wildlife.

You will return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll spend the day exploring the vast plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve on a full-day game drive. You will depart after an early breakfast from Drunken Elephant Mara with packed lunch boxes, allowing you to maximize your time in the wild.

You will track the Big Five across the savannah as you venture deep into the reserve, with chances to witness predators in action and large herds of wildlife. You'll visit the Mara River, famous for the Great Migration crossings (seasonal), and enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush.
