You will be met at the airport and transferred to your lodge for a relaxing evening. After check-in, your guide will conduct a safari briefing, outlining the journey ahead through some of Botswana’s most remote and dramatic landscapes.

Day 2

Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta

Today you experience the magic of the Okavango Delta, one of the world’s most unique inland deltas.
Travel into the Delta for a mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) excursion, gliding silently through lily-covered channels. Guided bush walks on the islands introduce you to the smaller details of the ecosystem — tracks, plants, birdlife, and seasonal wildlife.
This is a peaceful, immersive day that contrasts beautifully with the desert landscapes ahead.
Return to Maun in the late afternoon.
Optional: Scenic helicopter or fixed-wing flight over the Delta.
