Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Nairobi hotel or residence. Meet your professional driver-guide and travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a scenic viewpoint for photographs. Continue through Narok and arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp near the Maasai Mara in time for lunch and check-in. Later, enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive across the reserve’s open savannah, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests and other wildlife. An optional Maasai village visit can be arranged at an additional cost. Return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart with a packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Explore its sweeping plains, acacia-dotted grasslands and riverine areas while your driver-guide searches for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and abundant birdlife. Your route will be selected according to recent wildlife movements and road conditions. During migration season, large wildebeest and zebra herds may be present within the greater Mara ecosystem, although wildlife locations and river crossings cannot be guaranteed. Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic site before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast, check out and depart the Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru. Travel through the beautiful Great Rift Valley, passing local towns, agricultural landscapes and rolling highlands. Lunch will be provided during the journey. Depending on weather conditions, you may enjoy distant views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha along the way. Arrive in Nakuru during the afternoon and check in at Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing after the journey before enjoying dinner and your overnight stay. Your Lake Nakuru National Park game drive will take place the following morning.

After breakfast, check out and enter Lake Nakuru National Park for a rewarding morning game drive. Explore the lakeshore, woodland and open grasslands while searching for white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons and diverse birdlife. Flamingo numbers vary according to water and feeding conditions, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. After leaving the park, continue to Lake Naivasha for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat ride to observe hippos and waterbirds before transferring to Leisure Apex Resort. Check in, relax and enjoy dinner and your overnight stay near Lake Naivasha.

Weather permitting, enjoy magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, rising beyond the plains. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views across the park and surrounding wetlands before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing. Return to Nyati Safari Camp in the evening for dinner, relaxation and your final overnight stay in Amboseli.
