Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha. The evening will be spent at leisure with a delicious dinner as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, you will begin your game drive across the golden savannah, following the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide range of wildlife throughout the year. Expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions. The park’s dramatic landscapes and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect introduction to your safari experience. In the evening, you will head to your luxury lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse ecosystems and scenic beauty. This park offers a completely different experience, featuring lush groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline lake itself. During your game drive, you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, and flocks of flamingos depending on the season. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park, surrounded by nature. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Mto wa mbu for a relaxing evening at your lodge.

Following an early breakfast, you will begin your journey towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you will pass through the Ngorongoro highlands, offering breathtaking views before descending into the vast Serengeti plains. The name “Serengeti” means “endless plains,” and you will quickly understand why as you begin your game drive en route to your camp. Wildlife sightings begin immediately, with chances to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. You will arrive at your luxury tented camp in the heart of the park for dinner and overnight.

This day is dedicated entirely to exploring the incredible Serengeti. You will enjoy a full-day game drive or split your activities into morning and afternoon sessions, depending on your preference. Your guide will use their expertise to track wildlife and ensure the best possible sightings. The Serengeti offers some of the most spectacular wildlife interactions in Africa, including predator hunts and migration movements (seasonal). For a truly unforgettable experience, you may opt for an early morning hot air balloon safari, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. The day concludes with a return to your camp for dinner and relaxation under the African sky.

You will spend the evening relaxing at your lodge, enjoying the scenery and preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

On your final day, you will descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and hippos. The enclosed ecosystem makes it one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you will ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
