Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Early morning pick up from your Nairobi hotel/residence/airport. Depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa highway. The distance is approximately 250km on a 4-hour smooth road.

You'll catch glimpses of the scenic Athi plains as you progress towards Amboseli. You'll get to Amboseli in time for check in, lunch, followed by a late afternoon game viewing session.

Attractions: the Big Five, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, warthog, ostrich, and more. Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and is a sight to behold! It is the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Optional activities include Sundowner, Camel rides, Bush walks at no extra cost.

Amboseli National Park

Enjoy an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Early morning and late afternoon drives offer the best light for photography and incredible Kilimanjaro views. The cool morning also enhances your chances of spotting elusive predators such as lions and cheetahs.

Afterwards, return to the camp for late breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning relaxing in the camp.

You may also decide to go for a mid-morning visit to the Maasai village to learn about their culture and way of life. This cultural visit incurs an extra cost.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive and later on retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Other optional activities include Sundowner, Camel rides, Bush walks at no extra cost.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, check out and bid farewell to the beautiful wilderness by beginning your journey back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your preferred destination, marking the end of your safari.

Optional activity: You may choose to visit a nearby Maasai village for a cultural experience. Learn about Maasai traditions and daily life. This activity incurs additional charges.
