Early in the morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will pass through the vibrant town of Arusha, nestled at the base of Mount Meru and surrounded by lush forest to the north, giving it a fresh and pleasant climate year-round.
Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, whose bark is a favorite food for elephants. The park is also home to a wide variety of wildlife including warthogs, zebras, lions, leopards, and different species of antelopes, as well as many colorful birds. The drive takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours on a good and safe road. At midday, you will enjoy a relaxing break with a delicious lunch.
