You’ll then begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, enjoying a scenic drive before heading out on an exciting game drive with packed lunch boxes for your convenience. After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, you will be transferred to your lodge for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay
Tarangire National Park takes its name from the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts wildlife, especially during the dry season. Often referred to as the “river of warthogs, it plays a key role in sustaining the park’s ecosystem. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, frequently seen gathering along the riverbanks. You may also encounter giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest, along with predators such as lions and leopards. Lunch will be enjoyed at a designated picnic site within the park, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will depart from Karatu and journey towards the Central Serengeti for an exciting day of wildlife viewing. Upon entering the park, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot surrounded by nature.
In the afternoon, continue with a game drive as you head towards your camp. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains and abundant wildlife, including large herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest, especially during the migration season. You will also have the chance to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they roam freely in their natural habitat, offering a true glimpse into the circle of life.

The Great Migration involves vast herds of wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and other herbivores, moving across the Mara River on their way to the Masai Mara in Kenya. This dramatic crossing, often marked by encounters with crocodiles in the river, is one of the most iconic wildlife experiences in Africa.
The best time to witness the Mara River crossings is typically between July and early October, when the migration is at its peak in the Northern Serengeti.

You will begin your day with an early breakfast before setting out for a morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, where the focus will be on witnessing the remarkable Great Migration. Later in the day, you will continue your journey back to Central Serengeti for an overnight stay.
The Great Migration is the largest wildlife movement on Earth, involving vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and other animals crossing the plains in search of fresh grazing. One of the most dramatic highlights is the Mara River crossing, where animals brave strong currents and lurking crocodiles. This extraordinary event is best experienced between July and early October each year.

After breakfast, you will set out for the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, where you will enjoy an exciting full-day wildlife game drive within the crater, accompanied by packed lunch boxes.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is widely considered one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. It hosts a thriving and self-sustaining ecosystem with an estimated 30,000 large animals living within its walls year-round. Visitors can expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the rare black rhinoceros. The crater is also home to an impressive array of bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Due to the high concentration of wildlife in a relatively small area, game viewing is exceptionally rewarding, with frequent sightings of multiple species in a short period of time.

After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting game drive with a hot hamper meal. Upon finishing your safari experience, you will be transferred back to Arusha or to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
This park is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, which are frequently seen resting on the branches of large trees. It is also home to large troops of baboons that live in the forest and are often spotted along the road, sometimes appearing to greet visitors as they enter the park.
